In mm. 81-96 the tango figurations should be grouped and articulated as indicated in the example;  the 32nd-notes and 64th-notes are to be performed with an “articulated legato,”
whereas the 16th-notes are more connected.  The slurs and commas show where there should be a “lift” in the articulation. 
The performer is also advised to observe the slur from m. 77 to m. 78 in the left-hand chords;  the A-flat in m. 77 is slurred to the G in m. 78, and the A that appears in m. 78 is thus A-natural, as it is in a differing contrapuntal voice.
